My Jewish Coffee Connect provides a platform for networking, introductions, referrals, and community communication. Members offer their products and services through their own independent businesses.
Members are independent businesses
Membership does not make a member an employee, agent, partner, joint venturer, or authorized representative of My Jewish Coffee Connect. Members operate separately from the platform and are responsible for their own business activities. They cannot enter agreements, make promises, or accept obligations on our behalf merely because they are members.
Transactions are between the parties involved
Any agreement or transaction with a member is made directly with that member or business. The parties involved are responsible for their own quotes, contracts, advice, pricing, payments, refunds, warranties, delivery, work, and results. My Jewish Coffee Connect does not become a party to, supervise, insure, or guarantee a transaction simply because a connection was made through the platform.
Referrals are not endorsements or guarantees
A profile, membership approval, introduction, referral, meetup listing, or customer review does not constitute our endorsement, certification, or guarantee of a member’s qualifications, licensing, insurance, reliability, products, or services. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by members or any particular business outcome. Before doing business, independently check the provider’s credentials and suitability, agree on the terms, and obtain appropriate professional advice where needed.
Customer follow-ups do not change our role
We may request progress updates, contact a customer after a transaction, collect feedback, or keep referral records. These activities support community feedback, recordkeeping, and platform administration. They do not make My Jewish Coffee Connect a party to the transaction, a supervisor of the work, or a guarantor of the member’s services. A follow-up or response to a concern is not a promise of a refund, compensation, dispute resolution, or a particular outcome.
Responsibility and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Jewish Coffee Connect disclaims responsibility and liability for independent members’ acts, omissions, representations, advice, products, and services, and for claims, losses, injuries, property damage, costs, or disputes arising from transactions, meetings, or referrals involving those independent parties. This includes nonpayment, failure to perform, and unsatisfactory work or results.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability, consumer protection, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. It does not remove any responsibility we have for our own conduct or services where applicable law requires that responsibility.
Posts, photos, and meetups
Members remain responsible for their posts, private messages, promotions, photos, rights and permissions, and conduct at online or in-person meetups. Automated screening and approval can make mistakes and do not guarantee accuracy, appropriateness, or safety. Meetups are normally arranged by members. Review the Terms of Use, Community Standards, and Meetup Safety and Risk Notice before posting, hosting, or attending.
Questions and concerns
Address service, contract, payment, refund, and warranty disputes directly with the member or business involved. Report concerns about member conduct or the platform through the safety form or support@myjewishcoffeeconnect.com. Receiving a report or considering a membership action does not itself make us responsible for the underlying transaction.
